Neopets.com Review - All About Neopets.com Review!

Neopets.com is a site where you can have a “virtual” pet--  most of the enjoyment that you would have in owning a real pet, but without the usual factors of taking care of one in person.  On neopets.com, you will also find the types of pets that you would not be able to find in any pet store, as neopets are based on whimsical imagination.  Neopets bear very little resemblance to your everyday realistic cat or dog;  but being realistic is not in any way a part of the neopets.com experience! 

There are currently fifty-four neopets to choose from--  asparagus-eating Quiggles, shy little Jubjubs, the adventurous catlike Wockies, and a host of others.  The Shoyru, which resembles a blue bat, currently ranks highest in popularity. Or, you can go to the Neopian Pound to select an abandoned neopet to claim as yours. The neopets can also have pets of their own. 

In addition claiming ownership of a virtual pet, there are many other things you can do on the neopets.com site.  This site has a poetry gallery and an art gallery, and you can submit your own work for possible inclusion. If your work is chosen to be featured on their site, you will win a trophy.  Neopets.com has a number of ongoing contests for the enjoyment of its members;  some of the current contests include the caption contest, the pirate cave of the week, and the gallery spotlight, amongst others. 

As neopets live in the world of Neopia, you can go traveling into this virtual world, sharing many exciting adventures with your virtual pet.  You can explore Terror Mountain, the Haunted Woods, Mystery Island, or check into the Space Station.  Each has its own current weather report and daily temperature reading. 

The Neopedia is a collection of writings about the world of neopets.  Although the poems and stores found in the Neopedia are written by staff of neopets.com, they invite suggestions from the site's participants. 

Neopets.com has a great variety of games for their members, ranging from educational games and board games to action and quiz games, as well as some suited primarily to younger children.  Meerca Chase II is currently one of the most popular, with today's total number of plays at 958,554. 

At the NC Mall you can buy clothing and accessories for your neopet.  Your pet need never do without his Runaway Rocket Boots, his Defender of Neopia cape, or whatever outfit you wish to quip him with.  You can also buy him toys before taking him for school supplies.  You will also learn which types of food your  particular neopet prefers.
